How can I fix library access issues due to saved cookies or cache in my browser?


Cookies and other browser settings can create conflicts with logging into or accessing library resources.

If you are logged in correctly, but still cannot access an article or other resource, try the following:

Issue: View doesn't load in the Browser or hangs with loading diamonds.

Resolution: Clear cache in your browser to be compliant with the updated version of OneSearch. 

2FA Duo

Issue: FSU ITS received reports of 2FA (DUO) not working properly in various browsers. After ITS resolved the issue, ITS recommended users clear cache and cookies.

Resolution: When FSU online access issues are resolved, the user might have to clear cache and cookies for the resolution to take effect.

Stahl Online

Issue: User sees Service Announcement screen when opening Stahl Online.

Resolution: Clear cache/cookies in your browser to be compliant with the updated version. 

Nature Journals

Issue: Message on Nature states FSU does not have access to an article, even though FSU subscribes to the journal and has resolved issue to restore access.

Solution: Clear cache/cookies in your browser to resolve access issues.
