Q. Why should I reset my FSUID password by July 2017?
FSUID (e.g. jsmith or jas06c, NOT jane.smith) passwords must now be changed every 180 days.
- If you know your current FSUID and password, reset your password before July 2017 to avoid calling FSU ITS for a temporary password, which you will then have to reset anyway.
Remember to update your FSUID password on all your devices, such as your phone’s Wi-Fi or laptop’s email settings.
FSUID for Off-Campus Access
As of September 1, 2016, FSU University Libraries requires the FSUID to log into library resources from off campus.
What does this mean? Off-campus users sign on with their FSUID credentials. Examples of the FSUID are jas16a or jsmith.
